Sunday-Thursday work week with 8 hour shifts.
Assist with the coordination of daily routing scenarios, including planning and coordinating backhauls.
1. Work with SDS Transportation Managers to create reporting that will aid in monitoring productivity and effectiveness of the department.
2. Coordinate scheduling of backhauls with all relevant internal and external contacts and handle communications as needed.
3. Assist with gathering information and determining the best solutions for routing opportunities as needed.
4. Execute the daily route planning based on the volume/cube for each route that day. Create X-routes as needed, and ensure proper communication with SDS Transportation Scheduler.
5. Work with Department Managers and CLI Safety to provide DOT log information and reporting for DC and SBK Drivers as needed.
6. Prepare information for IFTA fuel tax filings and provide it to CLI Accounting.
7. Research and provide delivery data to SDS Transportation Managers as needed to assist with investigating store complaints or delivery time discrepancies.
8. Serve as a backup for payroll functions.
9. Assist in other areas of the department as needed.
