• Location: Pratt, KS 67124 (Kansas healthcare jobs)\n
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR RN)\n
• Healthcare Setting: Operating Room (OR)\n
• Start Date: December 22, 2025\n
• End Date: March 23, 2026\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (06:30 - 15:00), Monday–Friday\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100 - $2250\n
• Call Requirement: Every 5th or 6th weekend and one weekday\n
• Flu Vaccine: Required (no exemptions)\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Kansas RN license or compact state nursing license (required at submission)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (2 years preferred)\n
• Proficiency in orthopedic (total joints), general surgery, and OB procedures\n
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications\n
• Experience with orthopedic, GYN, podiatry, general, endoscopy, and labor & delivery C-sections\n
• Experience with electronic charting systems (any system accepted)\n
• First-time travel nurses are not eligible\n
• One professional reference required\n

\n\nOR RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Circulate in the Operating Room for surgical procedures: orthopedics, general surgery, OB/GYN, podiatry, and endoscopy\n
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with universal protocols during all perioperative phases\n
• Participate in call rotation (every 5th or 6th weekend and one weekday)\n
• Float to other clinical units as needed to support patient care\n
• Maintain accurate documentation and support infection control and quality assurance initiatives\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy\n
• Utilize specialized equipment such as the Hana Table and perform procedures including C-sections, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and hip fracture repairs\n
