The Hushbox is curated content that connects people that desire to be connected to like-minded individuals, places, things, and adventure, specifically with a focus on the Philippines and Southeast Asia.

Given the landscape that is social media, one has more options thrown at them now than at anytime before, but quantity doesn’t equate to quality. Our content providers are “in-the-know” subscribers, tastemakers, and trusted influencers with an emphasis on trust. Our mobile and email dispatches focus on cultural happenings and going-on’s, technology and business, music, art, and theatre.

From 1994 through 2010, Kebo, the Hushbox’s founder and curator of cool became somewhat of a cultural ambassador in Atlanta, GA. Being a clothing designer and man about town, having his fingerprint on all things culturally relevant, starting with his signature on fashion, art, music, and cool events, gave him an opportunity to become a conduit to connect others anxious for soul-stirring options.

In 2010, Kebo moved from the United States to the Philippines, with a five-year stint in Europe, and for almost 10 years, his creative skillset took him on a different journey; working globally as a creative director within the global health arena, developing visual communication initiatives. In a sense, he didn’t stray far from the engagement strategies that he had applied in the early days of the Hushbox and garment industry.

What started out as a virtual vibe in 2001, took a long hiatus and now returns from a new base in Manila, Philippines.
