Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT), BLS, and Ohio State Licensure for an adult and pediatric outpatient imaging role.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is at an outpatient care surgery center in a CT Tech unit
• Shift is 3x12 hours: Friday 9:30 AM–10:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 7:30 AM–8:00 PM
• Daily caseload is approximately 40 patients per technologist
• Work involves both adult and pediatric outpatient imaging
• Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, chest, carotid, trauma head, cervical, lumbar, and musculoskeletal trauma CTs
• Use of Siemens CT Scanner
• EPIC is used for electronic documentation and experience is required
• Responsibilities include preparing and administering contrast media, performing various CT procedures, and ensuring radiation safety
• Scrub color for this position is pewter gray
• Only one pre-approved time-off request is permitted per contract
• Must be able to handle a high patient volume
• RTO requests must be approved prior to assignment

\n \n Requirements\n

• Current ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active Ohio State Licensure required; license required if applicable
• Experience with both adult and pediatric outpatient imaging required
• Proficiency in isolation precautions and radiation safety
• Skill in contrast media preparation and administration
• Ability to start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture
• 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction skills required
• Prior experience with Siemens CT Scanner preferred
• First-time travelers are not accepted
