Senior Manager of Engineering – Slack First Mobile Apply for the Senior Manager of Engineering – Slack First Mobile role at Slack. Overview Slack is looking for a mobile‑centric Engineering Manager to lead the Slackforce engineering team. This team builds innovative mobile solutions within Slack and focuses on first‑party integrations with the Salesforce platform. The role partners with Product, Product Marketing, Design, and Data Analytics to deliver enterprise solutions that align with company goals. What You Will Be Doing Use data to make decisions about prioritization and impact Have a real passion for experimentation Mentor and coach engineers, helping them develop into technical leaders Work closely with Product, Design, Data, and Marketing to conceive features that help users build their teams Build roadmaps and long‑term team vision in partnership with the Product team Be accountable for driving project execution Define and fulfill the engineering hiring plan, including screening and interviewing Anticipate future technical needs and create plans to realize them Collaborate with other engineering leaders on priorities, processes, and policies What You Should Have 2+ years of engineering management experience leading productive, high‑functioning teams Experience shipping Android or iOS applications and up‑to‑date knowledge of the current development ecosystem Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience acceptable Ability to weigh several, often conflicting, constraints and make rapid decisions in a rapidly growing company Technical experience to discuss architecture and product decisions with engineers Proven history of shipping products with consistent execution Highly organized and thrives in rapid‑paced environments Comfortable with performance conversations and recognizes the relationship between objective feedback and career growth Unleash Your Potential When you join the organization, you’ll have unlimited opportunities to grow and impact.
