SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Combat Systems Test Engineer .
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Job Summary : SEACORP's Combat Systems Business Area is seeking a Combat Systems Test Engineer. SEACORP's experience in development of submarine combatsystems leverages our extensive software and engineering history to deliver astate of the art combat system to the U.S. Navy. A Combat Systems Test Engineer will evaluate requirements, maps requirements to test procedures and executes test procedures and documents results.
Job Responsibilities Include: \n - Executing test procedures and documenting results.
\n - Writing clear and concise problem reports.
\n - Identifying temporary workarounds for problems while long term solutions are developed.
\n - Understanding risk associated with all problem reports.
\n - Providing lab test support and troubleshooting problems.
\n - Investigating and analyzing failures to determine root-causes.
\n - Working with customer leads to review system designs and provide recommendations for implementation.
\n - Attending meetings as applicable and provide necessary verbal communication.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, qualified candidates will have military experience with US Navy Submarine Combat Systems including completion of Naval Advanced "C" School in the technical field of experience.
Experience : Related experience working with submarine Payload and Weapon control systems

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
